The last day for individual farmers, farmer groups and service providers to submit applications to Dairy InSight for the funding of industry good projects within the dairy industry closes 5pm Monday 17 February.
Dairy InSight, the organisation that dairy farmers voted to establish last year, will be allocating around $40 million from dairy farmers for projects in research and development; farm systems; data analysis and information generation; technology transfer; industry promotion; education and training and quality (control and product safety).
Application forms are available on the website www.dairyinsight.co.nz or by calling 0800 446 744. Applicants will receive notification of the result as quickly as possible and funds will be available from 1 June, 2003, once the levy begins to operate.
