Apple Will Have I-Pod Installed In Alfa Romeo Cars
Apple And Alfa Romeo Join Forces To Put The I-Pod
Experince On The Road
Apple Computers has announced at MacWorld 2005 today (12 January 2005) in San Francisco that it is joining forces with Alfa Romeo to provide fully integrated Apple i-Pod systems for future Alfa Romeo models as well as selected existing models.
The revolutionary Apple i-Pod will enable Alfa Romeo owners to combine the excitement of driving an Alfa Romeo with the ability to match their driving pleasure to more than 10,000 songs stored in an i-Pod and available at the touch of a button.
"There should be no surprise that Alfa Romeo and Apple have joined forces," says Chris Burger, General Manager for Alfa Romeo in New Zealand. "Both brands are renowned for their style, design integrity, high performance and innovation. There can be little doubt that we already have a considerable number of customers in common and this new joint venture will enable them to enjoy full convergence of their love of music and driving."
The first Alfa Romeos
to offer the new Apple i-Pod audio systems will be launched
this year with existing models gaining the option of Apple
i-Pod integration as and when revised models are launched.
