Woosh launches three new pricing plans

Portability, pricing and ease of installation are proving to be winning factors for Woosh in its drive to introduce New Zealanders to the benefits of wireless broadband, says the company’s Chief Executive, Bob Smith.

He says the company is now lifting the momentum of its sales by launching three new customer plans, Woosh Elevate, Woosh Express 3 and Woosh Express 10, which means its customers have an immediate choice of four plans.

The company’s four plans are:

- Woosh Elevate ¯ $29.95 (including GST) a month with a 200MB high speed data cap;
- Woosh Express 1 ¯ $39.95 (including GST) a month with a 1GB high speed data cap;
- Woosh Express 3 ¯ $49.95 (including GST) a month with a 3GB high speed data cap
- Woosh Express 10 ¯ $69.95 (including GST) a month with a 10GB high speed data cap.

All plans have a top-up data option which costs $14.95 (including GST) for 500MB. Based on customer feedback all plans will be speed limited when the customer reaches their high speed data cap rather than being charged for excess megabyte usage.

“Our new plans cover a range of options, from the new entry-level Woosh Elevate plan which is targeted at those who are regular but light users of the Internet looking to trade up from a dial-up service or who are connecting to the Internet for the first time, through to our Woosh Express 10 plan which is ideal for small businesses.

“The majority of the dial-up market will be well suited to our new $29.95 Woosh Elevate plan. The amount of data available on this plan will be more than sufficient for everyday web browsing and email usage, yet is only a small step up in price.”

Mr Smith says that since launching its services 18 months ago the company has deepened its understanding of the market and its range of plans had been structured to give people value and the opportunity to pick a plan that suits their needs.

Woosh offers a range of services on top of these plans that are now available to any customer. For example, any customer can take a Static IP Address with any of these plans, where previously this option was only available with Woosh business plans.

These services will be available in addition to free virus and SPAM protection offered as standard on all Woosh plans.
