Canon Appoints Head of Business Imaging Solutions Group
Canon New Zealand has appointed Craig Manson to the position of national manager – sales for Canon’s Business Imaging Solutions Group (BISG). Craig was formerly general manager of Schwarzkopf Professional New Zealand.
Craig will be accountable for all operational and financial results of the BISG sales group and is also a member of Canon’s Executive Team, responsible for key decision making across the entire organisation.
Under the leadership of managing director Tony Wills, Canon is currently undergoing a transition from a box-selling to a solutions selling model. In his new role, Craig will be instrumental in driving this change.
“A key element of my role is to lead the sales team to move from a peripheral, commodity sales environment to a solutions and value driven proposition to our clients enabling them to grow their business through the technologies that we deliver,” said Craig.
“The business imaging market is changing rapidly due to its very nature, and by evolving, Canon is well positioned to maximise the next phase of growth through its products, technologies and service.”
