Newtown Community & Cultural Centre Website
The Newtown Community & Cultural Centre announce the launching of their new website today.
The website, http://www.nccc.wellington.net.nz is to better serve members of the Newtown community bringing more information on community activities and activities of the Centre than what has previously been available. The site features information about the venue facilities and services available at the Centre located in Newtown, Wellington.
"We plan to use the website to promote the activities that occur in the Centre including performances and events that are open to members of the public, said Tom Law, Chairperson of the NCCC Committee.
The website revamp is one of a number of initiatives that are being undertaken by the Community Centre Staff and Management group at present. Other initiatives involve the upgrade of the community theatre that is widely used by members of the Wellington Community for practice and performance, assessing the use of the premises and how the premises use might be put to better use.
The website will be an ideal mechanism to keep informed those organisations and individuals that are interested in the Centre either as users, or as members of an audience of activities, or recipients of services or users of the resources that are available.
