The PJ458D delivers high performance and reliability

Christchurch, New Zealand, 26 July 2006 – ViewSonic Corporation, a worldwide leader in visual display products, today released the versatile PJ458D DLP (Digital Light Processor) projector.

The ViewSonic PJ458D is a light 2.1kg, easily transportable projector with 2000 lumens and a 1024 x 768 XGA native resolution with rich saturated colour and incredibly smooth video, perfect for home, school or office environments.

The powerful 2000:1 contrast ratio, digital keystone correction, wide throw ratio and zoom function means that the home cinema experience can be created in any lounge room and presentations will always be crisp, clear and accurate.

Home cinema and sharp presentations can be enjoyed through the use of DLP technology, which provides lifelike colours. The PJ458D also includes advanced video features such as built-in progressive scan and 3:2 pull-down as well as the added versatility of HD support.

The ViewSonic PJ458D can be set up practically anywhere, with the fast and simple one-touch set-up button which includes auto tuning, it can be transferred easily between class rooms, boardrooms and lounge rooms.

With two modes – normal and Eco – users can switch between power usages. The Eco mode extends lamp life by up to 3000 hours* and has the added benefit of noise output reduction.

The design of the PJ458D also means that there is no cleaning or replacement filters needed.

Optional features of the ViewSonic PJ458D include additional lamps and a universal ceiling mount.

All ViewSonic projectors include a three year warranty and one year warranty for the lamp.

The ViewSonic PJ458D is NZ$2099 including GST.
