Users demonstrate high engagement with Stuff.co.nz
11 December 2007- For Immediate Release
Users demonstrate high engagement with NZ’s most popular newspaper/magazine site, stuff.co.nz
Local visitors to stuff.co.nz’s homepage are more engaged than visitors to any other audited publisher homepage. They typically spend more time and return more frequently (almost 9 times on average in a month), meaning stuff.co.nz leads the category for time spent on the homepage. In total, including international traffic, users spent 153,000 hours on the stuff.co.nz homepage in November; and just under 8 out of 10 of these were from NZ visitors.
Additionally, Stuff.co.nz continues to dominate the Newspaper & Magazine category in the NZ marketplace ranking number 1 once again for domestic unique browsers in November 07.
Bernard Hickey, Head of Digital, Fairfax Media, says “Stuff’s home page has become a ‘must see’ for many New Zealanders logging on to the Internet through the day because of its rich mixture of fresh news, information and entertainment. This research shows that the Stuff home page is not only the best home page in New Zealand, but the best place for advertisers to get their message across to the most readers for the longest time.”
