IRL Board Chair praises CRI Taskforce findings

IRL Board Chair Keith McConnell welcomed the findings of the CRI Taskforce which were released publicly today.

“It is clear that the Taskforce listened carefully to all stakeholders, including representatives of the CRIs in preparing its recommendations."

Mr McConnell said it demonstrates great understanding of the capabilities of the CRIs as well as the challenges they face in improving the economic performance of New Zealand.

"I look forward to working with the Government to implement these recommendations for the benefit of New Zealand industry.”

Mr McConnell congratulated the CRI Taskforce members and its chair Neville Jordan on an excellent report.
