Yahoo calls all online strategists for the 2011 Awards

Yahoo! New Zealand is calling all online strategists for the 2011 Digital Strategy Awards!

Digital strategists have only just over a week left to enter quarter one of Yahoo! New Zealand's 2011 Digital Strategy Awards.

Established to recognise the key role digital strategy plays in the success of on-line campaigns, entries for the Awards close 5pm, May 9.

"It looks like the success of the 2010 DSAs have really inspired agencies to step their game this year," says Laura Maxwell-Hansen, General Manager of Yahoo!Xtra. "Already we are seeing an impressive line up of work coming through."

The annual awards are judged quarterly by a panel that includes Laura Maxwell-Hansen (GM, Yahoo! New Zealand) and Helen Baxter (Managing Directrix of Mohawk Media) as regular judges, along with various guest judges who will be joining the panel on a quarterly basis.

Maxwell-Hansen says that's it's a relief to see that more and more agencies are pushing the boundaries when it comes to online media.

"While good creative is important, at the end of the day it is the strategic thinking that goes into the development of digital strategy that is key to delivering outstanding campaigns."

This year the four quarterly winners will be eligible for the overall Yahoo!Xtra DSA annual prize of $10,000 of media on Y!X plus free entry into the CAANZ Media Awards Best Use of Digital category.
