Hamiltonian company owner Andrew Carl, founder and chief executive officer of technologies has created new, web-based human resource software called techXLogin to be used in workplace. Andrew plans on using an american company as his first client before his sales team target the domestic New Zealand economy.
The software tracks employee hours and productivity, so that when an employee arrives at the office they're required to "sign in" (or "punch in"). "Imagine this as a sort of web portal. You've arrived at work. You see your computer.
The first thing you see will be my portal and when need to check in (indicating to your employer that you have arrived) you use your handy mouse to click a button which refreshes the underlying page with a timestamp. Then you move on to whatever you're doing - whether it be actual real work, surfing the net, or working on spreadsheets, etc".
When the employee punches in, a timestamp is created which proves when they arrived. Similarly, if an employee goes to lunch they are required to "punch out" (or "sign out") of their work session.
"The beautiful thing is this is all handled from their work station. There's no paperwork required. I'd also say that while the prospect seems daunting to many, it's the way the world is headed. We're making use of technology in the workplace to help manage employee hours and productivity. We also have customers from the United States, such as Closeline Settlements in Rockville, MD who are interested in this software as it's every employers dream. Employers love to keep track of their employees and their productivity. Our product does this and can be managed easily online. techXLogin is entirely web-based, too - which means anyone can use it".
