LOPDELL HOUSE AUDITORIUM
Tuesday 24 May

Key Note Speakers: Dr Jim Salinger and Dr Niki Harré
Following the successful forum in November 2015, held at Corban Estate Arts Centre, TEMP is delighted to confirm the participation of leading climate change scientist educator Dr Jim Salinger and psychologist Dr Niki Harré in Forum II. Teams TEMP Air and TEMP Water will discuss their art science projects, each designed to increase community awareness about air quality and the impact on our ocean systems and we invite you to contribute to their projects through workshop.
TEMP is a series of public art science experiences spanning 2016, culminating in a large scale outdoor lab in early 2017 anchored two hubs – the Corban Estate Art Centre and Te Uru Waitakere Contemporary Gallery.
In 2017 the participatory projects will explore current climate change science through five topics: Water/Wai, Food/Kai, Air/Angi, Weather/Huarere and Shelter/Whakaruru – and the impacts that climate change will have on these in New Zealand and internationally.
