ADInstruments Offers Precision Force And Pressure Transducers For Physiological Research
ADInstruments offers two key sensor families tailored for high-fidelity physiological measurement and seamless integration with their PowerLab data acquisition systems.
The force transducers series spans a broad sensitivity range. It includes semi-isometric models detecting forces from 10mg to 1kg with customisable blade stiffness - ideal for various biological preparations - and highly refined isometric units with ranges of 0–2g and 0–20g for delicate, isolated tissue applications. The line also features a pre-calibrated grip dynamometer for human applications, measuring up to 800N.
The pressure sensor transducer is a piezo-resistive device designed for clean, accurate pressure measurements. It comes with a snap-on dome to prevent contamination, removable clip-on domes, a holder, and an interface cable. Optional accessories include a snap holder and a pressure gauge kit.
Together, these sensor offerings strengthen ADInstruments’ ecosystem, giving researchers and educators reliable tools to capture both biomechanical force and fluid pressure data with consistency and precision.
