Updated Kiwis Media Schedule
Canberra, Australia, April 18, 2013 – Simon Mannering and Stephen Kearney started Thursday at The Australian War Memorial with Cameron Smith and Tim Sheens from the Kangaroos. The guys were shown around and then a press conference was held.
The Kiwi contingent headed from the conference to their captain's training run at Canberra Stadium. Shaun Johnson ran well and had no problems goal kicking. His combination in the halves with Kieran Foran will be one of the real points of interest in Friday's game. After training, the Kiwis again did a recovery session at the Australian Institute of Sport.
On Thursday evening, Willie Apiata VC was a guest of the team at their hotel for dinner.
Friday night's match, which will be shown live in New Zealand on SKY TV, kicks off at 8pm (ACT time). A press conference with representatives from both teams will be held post-match.
