(SBU) Ambassador delivered on October 4 reftel demarche on
the designation of seven Iraqi nationals to Finance Minister
Hamed Kasasbeh. In parallel, EconCouns demarched Adnan
Lahaseh, Director of the Anti-Money Laundering Unit of the
Central Bank of Jordan, and Ayman al-Aamiry, Director of the
Foreign Ministry's International Organizations Department.
All appreciated the information received, and said they would
ensure that the names and biodata would be entered into the
relevant GOJ databases. Lahaseh added that he would conduct
a search to determine whether any of the individuals had
financial holdings in Jordan, and promised to report any
positive results to the Embassy
