1. POLOFF delivered Reftel talking points on the "OAS
Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples" to the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ambassador Pedro Blandino,
Assistant Secretary for International Organizations Affairs,
took our views on board but had no immediate reply. We will
report any subsequent Dominican response.
