DOD Identifies Three U.S. Army Soldiers Killed Today
The Department of Defense has identified the three U.S. Army service members who were killed by ordnance from a B-52 aircraft north of Kandahar, Afghanistan today.
They are Master Sergeant Jefferson Donald Davis, 39, Tennessee; Sergeant First Class Daniel Henry Petithory, 32, Massachusetts; and Staff Sergeant Brian Cody Prosser, 28, California.
All three deceased soldiers served in the 3rd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group, Ft. Campbell, Ky. An investigation is underway by the U.S. Central Command into the circumstances surrounding the incident causing their deaths.
