DOD IDENTIFIES SOLDIER KILLED IN AFGHANISTAN ACCIDENT
The Department of Defense has identified the soldier killed in an accident yesterday at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan. Army Spc. Jason A. Disney, 21, of Fallon, Nev., died shortly after sustaining injuries when a piece of heavy equipment fell on him.
He was assigned to the 7th Transportation Battalion, Fort Bragg, N.C.
The accident is under investigation.
