Cynthia Mckinney On Grand Jury Decision
For immediate release:
STATEMENT BY CONGRESSWOMAN
CYNTHIA MCKINNEY
ON GRAND JURY DECISION FINDING NO CAUSE
FOR INDICTMENT
June 16, 2006 (Washington, DC)
I am relieved that this unfortunate incident is behind me.
I accept today's grand jury finding of "no probable cause" as right and just, and the proper resolution of this case.
I want to thank my friends and supporters for standing with me during this difficult period.
I shall continue my important work on behalf of the citizens of Georgia's Fourth Congressional District without this cloud hanging over me.
