PM receives King of Jordan
Gordon Brown has welcomed King Abdullah II of Jordan and his wife, Queen Rania, to 10 Downing Street.
The two leaders discussed a range of issues including education for all and broad themes relating to the Middle East.
King Abdullah's father, King Hussein, was a key player in normalisation of Jordan's relations with Israel that culminated in a peace treaty in 1994.
Queen Rania is a well-known advocate of women's and children's rights.
