Gordon Brown to attend Commonwealth summit
Gordon Brown will travel to Uganda today to take part in the Commonwealth Heads of Government (CHOGM) summit.
The PM will attend meetings with leaders from across the Commonwealth community from 23-25 November. The CHOGM conference takes place every two years to discuss global issues and formulate collective policies and initiatives.
The Queen, as Head of the Commonwealth, also attends the conference which last took place in Valletta, Malta in 2005.
