Santa Dumps The Reindeer For A Squirrel Helicopter
Santa Dumps Reindeer For A Squirrel
The Royal Australian Navy's 723 Squadron based at HMAS ALBATROSS in Nowra took to the skies over Canberra this morning to spread some Christmas cheer to Canberra school kids.
Students at Hughes and Garran Primary schools have been visited by a Squirrel helicopter with the crew on-hand to give the kids a guided tour of the aircraft and a presentation on life as an aviator in the Navy.
The kids also had access to a flight simulator and have been presented with some Navy goodies to remind them of the experience.
Some of the children have a parent who is serving in uniform, so it was also a chance for Navy to engage the local community through the school visits.
