BACKGROUND:
A Ramp Ceremony is to occur to honour the arrival home of Sergeant Brett Till at RAAF Base Williamtown today.
The Hon. Joel Fitzgibbon MP, Minister for Defence; Mrs Louise Markus MP, Member for Greenway representing the Shadow Minister for Defence; The Chief of Defence Force, Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston; The Chief of Army, Lieutenant General Ken Gillespie; as well as the Special Operations Commander Australia, Major General Tim McOwan will be in attendance.
At the request of the family and due to the protected identity status of the personnel involved in this ceremony, media will not be invited to participate in this solemn event.
