Statement from the family of Nicola Enchmarch
Wednesday 2 June, 2010
The New Zealand family of Nicola Enchmarch would like to request privacy at this difficult time.
New Zealand’s Honorary Consul in Israel visited Nicola yesterday (local time) and reported that she is being well treated and is in good health. The New Zealand Embassy in Ankara, which is accredited to Israel, is in contact with the Israeli authorities on the deportation process. Beyond that, the family would like to make no further comment to media and request that their privacy be respected.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade are providing regular updates to the family on Nicola's situation.
