Haneyya: Palestinian Prisoners Are Victims Of Ferocious Israeli Campaign

Ismail Haneyya has lashed out at the Israeli occupation authority for violating human rights of Palestinian prisoners.
He said after attending the Friday congregation at a sit-in tent pitched in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners in front of the Red Cross premises in Gaza city that the IOA was ignoring international treaties on prisoners’ rights.
Haneyya said that the Palestinian prisoners, who have gone on hunger strike en masse, were facing slow death in the Israeli dungeons.
He said that the Palestinian prisoners, who started their hunger strike on 17 April, should be backed by the Palestinian people within the occupied homeland and abroad.
The premier affirmed that all paths would be pursued for the sake of securing the freedom of those prisoners.
