Nablus MPs Hold Israel Fully Responsible For Life Of Labada

NABLUS, (PIC)-- The Palestinian lawmakers in Nablus city held Israel fully responsible for the life of Hamas official Zuhair Labada who was released last Thursday after the Israeli jailers realized that he might die any moment.
This came in a press release issued following the visit of a number of Nablus lawmakers to the national hospital in the city where Labada is receiving intensive care.
The lawmakers charged that Labada suffered from deliberate medical neglect during his presence in Israeli jails leading to the serious deterioration of his health condition.
A few days earlier when his Israeli jailers transferred him from his cell to Assaf Harovih hospital and then to the hospital of Ramla jail, and found out about his serious health status, they decided to release him on Thursday as a dying man.
Lawyer Fares Abul Hasan affirmed that the Israeli decision to set Labada free was taken after his health status seriously declined.
Labada is a noted national figure and one of the 1992 Marj Al-Zuhour exiles. He was jailed many times by the Palestinian authority and Israel because of his affiliation with Hamas.
His first time in Israeli jail was in 1988 and the last time was in December 2011 serving six months in administrative detention, but his release was one month earlier.
