Abu Assabeh Slam Israel's Violation Of Its Agreement With Hunger Strikers
28/05/2012
GAZA, (PIC)-- Palestinian minister of prisoners' affairs Attallah Abu Assabeh deplored the Israeli occupation authority for extending the administrative detention of some prisoners, affirming it is a flagrant violation of its agreement with hunger strikers.
Abu Assabeh stated in a press release on Sunday that the agreement stipulated that the Israeli side would not extend the administrative detention of prisoners after they complete their current terms, but the Israeli occupation persistently violated it.
The minister added that the Israeli occupation forces extended the administrative detention of lawmakers Mohamed Natsheh and Hussam Khader without referring to a court.
He warned that the prisoners would resume their hunger strike if the Israeli prison authority persisted in reneging on its agreement with them.
