Two Palestinians Wounded, One Seriously, In Israeli Raids
Erdogan: Palestinian Tragedy Major Cause For Instability In The Region
06/06/2012

ISTANBUL, (PIC)-- Turkish premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the continued suffering of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation was the main cause for instability in the region.
Erdogan, in an address at the international economic forum in Istanbul, drew the world’s attention to the Palestine cause, which is the main source of instability in the Middle East.
The premier said that the Palestinians are subjected to bombing that kill children, women, and old people while many are held in the biggest prison in the world, which led to a wave of anger in the region.
Erdogan, meanwhile, underlined that Turkey managed to maintain its status as a safe haven in the region despite the surrounding turmoil, thanks to its democracy and stability in addition to strong economic performance.
