SALFIT, (PIC)-- The Hamas Movement strongly denounced the Israeli occupation regime for closing the office of Palestinian members of parliament in Salfit city and described it as a racist act and a violation of international norms and conventions.
In a press release on Wednesday, Hamas underscored that such Israeli policy would not succeed in undermining the will of its lawmakers in the West Bank and their parliamentary responsibilities.
It stressed that the West Bank lawmakers would keep defending the Palestinian people's rights and the national constants regardless of any Israeli restrictions.
Hamas urged the organization of Islamic cooperation, the Arab League and the world's parliaments to intervene to curb Israel from closing the offices of Palestinian parliamentarians in the West Bank.
