Abano achieves full ownership of Dental Partners
Abano Healthcare Group has achieved 100% ownership of its Australian dental business, Dental Partners, following a successful offer to acquire all of the shares of Dental Investments Holdings Limited (DIHL), the company which owned the outstanding 30% shareholding in Dental Partners.
Dental Partners is one of the fastest growing dental consolidators in the Australian market, and currently has 58 practices and more than 450 staff across Australia.
Managing director of Abano, Alan Clarke, said: “This is an excellent investment by Abano in a highly scalable, private paying, growth business that operates in a very large market. Dental Partners has demonstrated strong and profitable growth over the past four years, to the point that it is now one of Australia’s largest dental consolidators and a significant revenue and earnings generator for Abano.”
