Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to
midnight tomorrow.
For Northland and Auckland down to Manawatu, also for the central plateau: and Bay of Plenty: Showers in most places tonight. Snow flurries to 800 metres about the central high country overnight which includes the Desert Road. Skies clearing from the south tomorrow morning but a few showers persisting about eastern Northland and Coromandel Peninsula.
In the east from Gisborne to Wairarapa, also for Wellington: Cloud and a few showers until early tomorrow then gradually becoming fine from the south.
Nelson and the South Island west coast: Remaining cloud and light showers clearing from Nelson and northern Buller tonight otherwise fine and frosty.
For Marlborough and Canterbury: Clearing north of Banks Peninsula tonight, elsewhere fine. Fine and frosty everywhere tomorrow.
In Otago and Southland: Cloud and light showers persisting about the south coast until early tomorrow otherwise clear frosty weather.
Chatham Islands: Showers.
