Weather Workshop: Short Forecast

Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to midnight tonight.

In the north and west of the North Island from Northland and
Auckland down to Wellington, also for the central plateau:
Cloud thickening with drizzly rain towards evening from Taranaki
south. A few light showers after dark further north.

Bay of Plenty and from Gisborne to Wairarapa: Mostly fine.

Nelson and Marlborough: Patchy rain about the western ranges
spreading elsewhere this evening.

West of the South Island: Rain with heavy falls south of
the glaciers.

Canterbury: Rain about the main divide. Further east dry and windy.

Otago and Southland: Rain in the west spreading east at times.
From evening skies slowly clearing from the south but a few showers
persisting about the south coast.

Chatham Islands: Cloudy.
