Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to midnight tonight.

In the north and west of the North Island from Northland to Manawatu, also for the central plateau and Bay of Plenty: Showery today. Slowly becoming fine tomorrow.

Gisborne to Wairarapa, also for Wellington: Rain easing to Showers today. Showers clearing from the south tomorrow.

Nelson: Becoming fine today. Fine tomorrow.

Marlborough and Canterbury: Rain easing to showers about and north of Ashburton, further south mainly fine. Tomorrow, mainly fine everywhere.

West of the South Island: Mainly fine but cloud increasing in Fiordland tomorrow.

Otago and Southland: Fine apart from coastal cloud. Cloud increasing about the Southland coast tomorrow afternoon.

Chatham Islands: Wet and windy.
