Northland: Showers becoming confined to the east coast tomorrow.
From Auckland to Manawatu, including Bay of Plenty and the central Plateau: Mostly fine and frosty.
Kapiti Coast and Wellington: Becoming fine from later today.
In the east from Gisborne to Wairarapa: Remaining showers clearing today and mostly fine tomorrow.
The South Island: Fine and frosty in most places. A few showers persisting about Foveaux Strait and southern Fiordland.
Chatham Island: Showers becoming few and far between tomorrow.
