Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to midnight tonight.

From Northland to Bay of Plenty, also down to Taranaki and the central plateau: Showers and fine spells.

Gisborne and Hawkes Bay: High cloud and becoming warm this afternoon with showers about the ranges but dry further east.

Wanganui to Wellington, also for Wairarapa: Showers easing this morning with fine breaks increasing.

Nelson and the South Island west coast: Cloudy with patchy rain becoming widespread along the west coast but fine breaks
developing in Nelson.

Marlborough, Canterbury and Otago, also for Southland: Cloudy with patchy rain. Long fine breaks developing inland.

Chatham Islands: Outbreaks of rain.
