Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight
tonight:

The north and west of the North Island from Northland to Wellington, also for the volcanic plateau and Bay of Plenty: Further rain about Bay of Plenty this morning. Showers elsewhere.

In the east from Gisborne to Wairarapa: Patchy rain clearing. Showers and southerlies developing in Wairarapa after dark.

Nelson and Buller: Showers this morning then clearing and becoming mainly fine.

For Westland and Fiordland: Mainly fine weather.

Marlborough to Otago also for Southland: Showers and southerlies spread north reaching Marlborough by evening with snow to low levels about Otago and Southland.

Chatham Islands: Mainly fine at first. Rain developing later.
