Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow:
North and west of the North Island from Northland and Wellington: also the central Plateau and Bay of Plenty. Fine with frosts in many places overnight. Cloud increasing tomorrow morning from Taranaki southward. Drizzle patches there later in the day.
Gisborne to Wairarapa: Remaining showers north of Mahia clearing overnight, elsewhere becoming fine and frosty. Fine everywhere tomorrow with northwesterlies strengthening south of Napier.
South Island west coast: Showers about the fiords turning to rain tomorrow and spreading to most areas. Heavy falls expected south of Hokitika late in the day.
Remainder of the South Island: Fine and frosty overnight. High cloud increasing tomorrow with rain about the main divide and western ranges. Northwest winds strengthening inland from mid Canterbury southwards.
Chatham Islands: Showers becoming less frequent tomorrow.
