Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow:
From Northland and Wellington: also for the central Plateau and Bay of Plenty. Becoming cloudy in the north and west with drizzle from Taranaki south this evening, elsewhere remaining dry. Tomorrow patchy rain spreading to most areas.
Gisborne to Wairarapa: Fine today. Northwesterlies strengthening south of Napier. Tomorrow cloudy, dry and windy.
South Island west coast: Rain working into most areas today with heavy falls south of Hokitika from tonight. During tomorrow rain gradually easing to showers from the south.
For Nelson and in the east from Marlborough to Southland: High cloud thickening today with rain developing about the western ranges. Northwest gales later from inland Canterbury to Southland. Tomorrow some rain in most places briefly. A southwest change slowly working north.
Chatham Islands: The odd shower with cloudy skies.
