For all of the North Island: Fine weather overnight apart from cloudy periods about Northland. Mainly fine tomorrow.

South Islands West coast and Southland: Mainly cloudy overnight and tomorrow south of Haast, mainly fine elsewhere.

For the remainder of the South Island: Mainly fine weather.

Chatham Islands: Cloud and fine breaks with southwest winds.
