Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight tonight:

For the north and west of the North Island from Northland to
Manawatu: Cloudy periods with a few showers. During the
afternoon and evening southerlies working north brief showers
in most places.

Bay of Plenty: Mainly fine. A few rouge showers this evening.

Gisborne to Wairarapa: Showers spreading north reaching Gisborne
this afternoon. A clearance from the south later.

Wellington: A period of showers this morning then gradually clearing.

Nelson and Marlborough: Brief morning showers then becoming
fine in most places.

The South Island west coast: Showers clearing.

Canterbury: Morning showers then becoming fine.

Otago and Southland: A few coastal showers persisting. Clearing
elsewhere.

Chatham Islands: Showery and cold.
