Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow:

For the north and west of the North Island from Northland to Manawatu, also for Bay of Plenty and the central plateau: Fine weather apart from cloudy periods. The odd shower about Northland clearing this afternoon. Tomorrow, cloud increasing along western areas, mostly fine elsewhere.

In the east from Gisborne to Wairarapa, also for Wellington: Remaining light showers about Gisborne clearing today. Fine elsewhere. Fine everywhere tomorrow.

Nelson, Marlborough to Otago, also Southland: Mainly fine today. High cloud increasing overnight then showers and southwesterlies spread north tomorrow reaching Nelson and Marlborough well after dark.

South Island west coast: Cloud increasing. Rain developing early afternoon about Fiordland and spreading further north later. Tomorrow, showers and southwesterlies spread north.

Chatham Islands: Showers becoming less frequent today. Cloudy with gusty northwesterlies tomorrow.
