Video: John Key - Behind the scenes at The Basin
13 March. The Prime Minister participated in the celebrity cricket match on Sunday at The Basin in Wellington to raise funds for the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal. By hitting a boundary off Shane Warne, he secured a $100,000 donation from Fujitsu. Altogether, the match raised about half a million dollars for the charity. According to news sources, the match, organised by former Black Caps captain Stephen Fleming, was played in front of a 10,000 strong crowd.
