New passing lane for State Highway 1 south of Kawakawa
Transit has awarded a contract to McBreen Jenkins for the construction of a 1.6km-long southbound passing lane at Longhill, located some 8 kilometres south of Kawakawa. The total project cost is $1.9 million and construction is expected to start this month and finish later this year.
