Roscommon Road closures
Transit New Zealand advises motorists to exercise special caution when travelling north of Roscommon Road between Wiri Station Road and Vogler Drive.
Parts of this section of Roscommon Road will be closed from tonight (Thursday 20 May to Monday morning 24 May).
During the closures detours will be in place and motorists are asked to exercise special care and to follow the detour signs.
“We usually only close the road at night to minimise inconvenience to motorists,” says Transit Regional Manager Wayne McDonald. “However, we have encountered unforeseen ground conditions and have been forced to close the road during the day as well as the night to get repairs done.” ENDS
