Action Hobson Launches Website
Action Hobson, the new political vehicle contesting the three Auckland City Council seats in the Hobson Ward and the six seats on the Hobson Community Board, has launched its website at www.actionhobson.org.nz .
Richard Simpson, an Action Hobson candidate for the Auckland City Council, said the main point of the website was to ensure all Hobson voters had easy access to all candidates’ phone numbers and email addresses.
“Action Hobson is a community political vehicle, set up to stop the Eastern Motorway and promote Rapid Transit Solutions to Auckland’s gridlock, and we want direct, people-to-people contact with the community,” he said.
“The website provides biographical information on our candidates, details of our Ten Point Plan and our press statements, but – most importantly – it says ‘here’s how to talk with us’.”
Richard Simpson said Action Hobson would be constructing its hoardings around the ward this week and would be launching full-page advertisements in local papers on Friday.
