Public Meeting To Discuss Mangere Town Centre Concept Plan
Manukau City Council is holding a public meeting to present the draft concept plan for the Mangere Town Centre and surrounding areas on 22nd of November at 9.30 at the Mangere Arts Outreach Centre, Mangere Town Centre.
Organised by the Mangere Citizens Advice Bureau, speakers will be: Sir Barry Curtis, Mayor of Manukau; Kate Rogers, Project Leader; and Ken Taylor, Mangere Community Board.
This is an opportunity for local Mangere residents to learn more about the exciting long term plans for their town centre and surrounding area and ask questions at the completion of the presentations.
The Mangere Growth Centre draft concept plan has been prepared with input from many Mangere business and community representatives and residents. Council aims to release the final concept plan for Mangere by the end of 2005.
