Unholy Alliance? What hypocrisy!
Unholy Alliance? What hypocrisy!
--------------------------------------
C&R Now organiser Aaron Bhatnagar today laughed off the accusation from Action Hobson that C&R Now were in an “unholy alliance” with Dr Cullen of the Labour Government.
“This is more hypocrisy from Action Hobson”, said Mr Bhatnagar.
"C&R Now accept the results of the last election and it's time to move on to other solutions to Auckland's roading problems. That's why C&R Now called for Auckland getting its fair share of petrol and transport funding the other week", said Mr Bhatnagar.
"We completely disagree with Dr Cullen's suggestion that Auckland rates be massively hiked. That's already happened, due to Action Hobson's betrayal of their election promises. Auckland should first be getting its fair share from petrol taxes and road funding before even considering congestion charges and massive rates hikes for transport".
"The only unholy alliance in Auckland City is the City Vision-Action Hobson alliance where Action Hobson promised to be conservative but have sided with the left. They plan to massively hike rates for two years running despite Action Hobson's promises to keep rates to inflation. That is bare-faced hypocrisy from Councillors Simpson and Caughey". said Mr Bhatnagar.
