Spring Clean Up For Lotto Winners
Spring Clean Up For Lotto Winners
Spring couldn't be sweeter for two players in Whakatane and Putaruru who have each won $500,000 in Lotto First Division, NZ Lotteries Chief Executive Todd McLeay said.
The winning tickets were sold at Whakatane Paper Plus and McCabes Toyworld and Post in Putaruru.
Lotto Powerball has jackpotted to $2 million in next week's draw. Strike was also not won this weekend, and is worth $400,000 in next week's draw.
Tonight's other big winner was Auckland man Nikolao Patolo, who spun and won $1 million live on Lotto's Winning Wheel. Mr Patolo was left speechless after his winning spin.
"I'm in shock. I never imagined I would win anywhere near $1 million," said Mr Patolo.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto's Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
Tonight's Winning Wheel ticket was sold by Dinsdale Stationary Take Note in Hamilton. The serial number is 376-41186066-20XX.
