Brash lands bit part in Nelson arts festival
The Nelson Arts Festival has found the stuffed alsatian needed as a prop in the Australian dance show Blue Love that stages at the Suter Theatre next month.
Last week the festival crew thought they had their dog after a response to the story from Rotorua - but that dog turned out to be just a stuffed toy.
Arts Festival technical director Antony Hodgson got back on the trail of a dog spotted at the Blenheim dump - and now has the pooch in his possession.
He is a handsome mutt named Brash with erect ears and a permanently alert posture.
