PRESS RELEASE
Under 18s Free At City Gallery this Weekend
City Gallery Wellington is pleased to announce
free entry (for under 18s) to Sam Taylor-Wood this weekend,
marking the popular annual Muka Youth Print
Exhibition.
The exhibition (Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 November, 12noon-5pm), takes place in City Gallery Wellington’s on-site classroom. Exclusively for 5 to 18 year olds, a collection of original lithographs from twenty prominent artists from New Zealand, Australia and Europe are available for sale at $55.
On Saturday Muka will be accompanied by our annual Young at Art Family Day – an afternoon bursting with fun (and free) kids activities, from 12-4pm.
Last year, over 800 young people participated in Muka and Young Art. “We’re looking forward to holding this exhibition and family day again. Kids respond to it,” City Gallery Wellington Director Paula Savage says.
Entry to the Gallery throughout Muka weekend is free for those aged 18 years and under. Entry charges still apply for over 18s.
