Wellington Inner City Bypass - public open
days, 16-17 December, 2006
Background
information
Members of the public have an opportunity to walk Wellington's Inner City Bypass during public open days to be held on 16 and 17 December. The site will be open between 10am and 3pm, giving members of the public a once in a lifetime opportunity to walk through the new trough structure which forms part of the new northbound route of the Wellington Inner City Bypass. The Combined Rotary Clubs of Wellington will ask for a gold donation and all proceeds will go to the Karori Wildlife Sanctuary.
The Bypass will be opened to traffic on 28 December 2006.
